You Are a Prisoner of the State. Always.

This story is heartbreaking and maddening, and mostly, it demonstrates – with a great deal of clarity – the power of the social services-police state-medical establishment posse, and how this powerful web of totalitarian machinations can take over your family life and children at will.

This Detroit mother was all the news last week as she holed up in her home, with her 13-year-old daughter, after some individuals from Child Abduction Services showed up at her house with a state warrant to take her child out of her home without her permission. Maryanne Godboldo then did what any good and moral mother would do: she got her gun and said, no, you will not take my child from my home.

Maryanne Godboldo, 56, was arraigned Sunday before 36th District Magistrate Sidney Barthwell Jr. on charges of firing a weapon in a dwelling, felonious assault, resisting and obstructing an officer, and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

Maryanne was vilified by the local media for daring to shoot her gun and hold the SWAT team at bay while she refused to leave the home. Yes, Detroit sent its finest circus clowns in 20 layers of armor to face off against a women with a pea-shooter refusing to throw her child to the witch doctor wolves. While this “standoff” was in progress, Maryanne was referred to as being mentally unbalanced, and she was even accused of “acting outside of her normal behavior.” This mother has been fighting the state and its Nazi witch doctors because they aggressed against her child, time and time again, by putting her on powerful, hallucinogenic, psychotropic drugs that made her daughter depressed and crazy. This mother committed the “crime” of withholding these psychotropic drugs from her daughter.

Going back a bit – the child was born with a disability, so Mom, a trained dancer, stayed home for many years to homeschool her child (crime # 2) while she ran a dance school with her sister. When the child went to public schools as a teenager, she was forced to receive immunizations. The child had severe reactions from the immunizations, and her health deteriorated. As the child’s health got worse, the medical establishment intervened. No condition was diagnosed – as is always the case when forced drugs kill or maim children – but an aggressive treatment was undertaken, and that included, of course, “crazy” drugs. The child’s irritations and facial grimaces, classic signs of adverse reactions to immunizations, were considered to be mental problems by the loon quacks who stuffed powerful drugs into her frail body. Her mother watched her daughter’s childhood and spirit disappearing right before her eyes. So she stopped the drugs to allow that little girl to live again.

And the state then moved in to take its prisoner. When Maryanne agreed to end the standoff on the promise that her child would be left with relatives, the cops in armor turned the child over to what the state calls “protective custody.” More human lives ruined by the state and its corrupt agents in the name of “protection.”

The media in Detroit is reporting this as a case where the mother “refused drugs to treat her daughter’s mental illness.” An undiagnosed health condition that mysteriously becomes a mental illness. And human beings with souls apparently find it acceptable to report this case as a big fat lie to cover for the crimes of the state and its ethically corrupt medical authorities.

Here is a video of the black-caped Decider of Lives putting a $500,000 bond on this woman so she cannot leave the state’s gulag to care for her little girl. Of course, the local media outlets show this awful picture of Maryanne (how would you look after the stress of a standoff with the SWAT tyrants and Child Abduction Services?), when the Detroit News had the sense to show a photo of the real and beautiful Maryanne.

HORRIBLE. The Failed State of Michigan can do nothing to help them, so it instead abuses its most helpless citizens.

I’d love to hear the other side of this affair.

We have ALL heard of the DEATH-FUL effects of immmunization to our children – but I am not completely convinced we have have gotten the full story. I want justice anymore than anyone – but I want to hear ALL sides of the story befo’ I pass any judgment!

AS regards to immunization, what did you NOT understand from Dr. Mercola’s warnings?

You basically DO NOT DO THIS!

    Still attending….

If only 1) Maryanne had more firepower, and 2) her neighbors had firepower of their own and were available to back her up.

The local media of Detroit is a perfect example of how pathetic the media have become. They are a constant cheerleader for the state. Detroit is a basket case of corruption and decay, but the cheerleading goes on. Your example is just another illustration of the local media toeing the statist line as it crushes anybody who thinks they can defy it, no matter how ridiculous or offensive the demands. But even this is not the true tragedy. How many, outside this blog, have even bothered to question the state’s actions in this case? The religion of the state has been well learned in Michigan.

Very sad, and very wrong. All these government thugs deserve the worst.

But these cases always leave me with the same question–where’s Daddy?

Oh hey everyone, did you remember to get your FLU shots?

Ya know? It is sort of funny how our own bodies – sufficiently fed, healthy gut, healthy immune system, good sleep, some exercise – ~SEEM to do alright ALL BY THEMSELVES!

    It is a stunner, no?

Haven’t had a “flu shot” EVER!

    Later.

Government is coming to take care of you. scary stuff. So all problems can be solved with drugs, psychological drugs given by “experts”. mom is with her child longer than any of the doctors. heard this sick story before the “experts” scare me. Go mom!

Iluvatar, before I started getting yearly flu shots I was sick every January. I haven’t been sick in January since. So for some of us the shots work. We’re all different.

Feh, what’s the big deal? This scenario, on a national scale, is what the liberals have wanted for a long time and are getting. I take no flu shots, or any other drug, and I eat meat, eggs, butter, bacon, etc., and I fully expect Obama, or those like him, to eventually force me to take the shots and force me on a vegan diet.

@Regi The child’s father is cheerleading for the mom – “It is an undiagnosed condition, but the doctor had given her psychotropic drugs that caused a bad reaction, made things worse,” said the girl’s father, Mubuarak Hakim. “Maryanne’s decision to wean her from that was making a difference, making her better, helping her to be a happy kid again.”

That’s from the article where they show the lovely picture of the mom at detnews.com.

This situation illustrates something very ugly about our government, I believe. They don’t fear us, and they’re not above abusing us for entertainment. Hopefully, the media putting light to the story a bit will curb them. It’s horrifying.

I hope that link works, they’re reporting the mom was released. They’ve quoted Judge Thomas saying the warrant contained “defects”.

“You Are a Prisoner of the State. Always.” Well, yeah, and People like it like that, they’re ok with that, and they support that.
Other Mom’s love the state, and support this kind of thing – Dad’s too – of course they don’t spend any time thinking about Why they support such things, they just do.
I’m not sure how to help make this story go viral because it seems that People are ok with it. They’ll say she should have submitted and obeyed, to do otherwise means she must be a nut, right?

People Like being rats in a cage,… it’s the new American way,… nothing outside the state, everything for the state, nothing but the state, Forever!

Besides, she was black,… and poor, and “everyone” knows they don’t count.

People will forget about this – just like the Gulf Spill – don’tchyaknow American Idol and Dancing with the Stars is on?

If you forget about Everything you were ever taught about what it means to be an American, and if you forget about everything you were ever taught about right and wrong and bully-thugs, everything makes perfect sense.

If you were never taught anything, you’re ahead of the game, eh?

I remember when the state decided to “take care of me.” 2.5 years in the foster care system for no good reason and a lot of heartbreak.  I’ve never been the same and never will be.

Don’t exaggerate. No teenager is a little girl. The truth is compelling enough; it is a disservice to add falsehood to it.

P.M. – disservice and falsehood? LoL! Perhaps you are not a MoM (I bet’cha you aren’t), but a teenage girl *is* Mom’s “little girl.” Hello?? And a drugged (with potent psychotropic drugs) teenager is not a little girl that can “live” with any quality of life.

It really blows me away – what people will bitch and complain about.

FYI, the charges against this woman were thrown out of court… appeal possibly pending….

  18. P.M.Lawrence says:

I mean, overstatement is always going to undercut a strong case. It’s the principle of “he who is faithful in little is also faithful in much” that’s being violated here. And so what if ‘a teenage girl *is* Mom’s “little girl”’? It’s not her who needs to be reached.

You were overstating, and your response to my pointing it out is to pull on the emotions. When someone does that to me, I instinctively distance myself; the odds are good that you are losing a sizeable part of your potential audience with these methods, and not just one person. Remember the running gag in the Simpsons about the woman who always cries out, “think of the children”? Our sort tunes out as soon as someone plays that card, unless we make a conscious effort not to – which is why the running gag works (I also liked their one off gag about “your tears say more than real evidence ever could”).

When I tell you these things, it’s not to “bitch and complain”, it’s to point out an unforced error. If you take it that way, you are most likely tuning out this feedback and won’t take it on board.

  19. Karen De Coster says:

    September 8th, 2011 at 10:44 am

P.M. — LoL, you are a self-righteous bugaboo, ain’t ya? So now, any “feedback” you provide to me or anyone else must be the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, otherwise someone is “tuning out” your gloriously wonderful feedback (your subjective opinion) and just “can’t take it.” Wow That’s brilliant. You are a wicked debater. Newsflash: your subjective opinion is not my subjective opinion, and if I state that on _my own_ board, that is the most reasonable thing I can think of…

And I am “pulling out the emotions?” LoL! Umm, yeah dude, it’s completely “emotional” to state that my written opinion does not conform to your subjective opinion that trashes my opinion. It’s “emotional” for me to state that my thesis remains, as is, in spite your erroneous and emotional “you can’t say that because you’re wrong” bullshit. When I publish my stuff, and you turn up on my board creating all of this drama, who is the emotional one? Feel free to write and publish on your own, stating your own opinions as you see them.
