Windsor Liberty SeminarMonday, May 29, 2006
I’m speaking at a nifty, little conference across the border, in socialist Canada: The Windsor Liberty Seminar. This, I think, is only their second run of this series. The audience will be mostly new converts and/or possible converts (to the liberty mindset, that is). I’ll be staying away from the old-and-worn lecture on the Federal Reserve and the basics of its corrupting nature. Instead, I’ll expose the Fed, briefly, as the political machination it is, and I will talk about current economic events that are affected and controlled by the Fed. I’ll talk about housing bubbles, mortgage scams, the Fed and its distortion of time preferences, and how the auto industry has been caught up in massive malinvestment, courtesy of the Federal Reserve.
