I heard a while back that a Glaxo smithKline CEO had been heard to say that most drugs don’t work, so I thought I”d check out tonight, and viola, this just popped up minutes ago..that very story here 2/25/12.

Allen Roses, worldwide vice-president of genetics at GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), said fewer than half of the patients prescribed some of the most expensive drugs actually derived any benefit from them
” So as long as Americans have to have something in their mouths, be it food or pills Big Pharma gets to make mucho money off the mental health problems of boobus americans.

Of course, people who don’t take their prescriptions tend to flush them down the toilet, contaminating the water supply and poisoning us all. On the other hand, people who do take their prescriptions are more likely to die young (helping curb the global population problem) and then be cremated or put in a water tight coffin, taking their drugs to the grave with them. Perhaps we would have less pollution if everyone was forced to take the prescriptions they bought ;-)
