I've known so many and tried to get them to see things from a different perspective and failed. Can they ever learn/change, even after the roof over their heads collapses? Certainly not until. I do so dislike labels, but this one seems useful. "Oh, so you're a wonkette, I see, never mind then, you'll never get it." Preprogrammed one track minded robots. Just like telling a homeower in 2003 that the housing bubble is going to collapse and housing values will plummet 60%. Their, "deer caught in the head-lights look" response morphs into an attack Wonkette kid, “That will Never happen!” What's the pre-The Wall equivalent in East Germany? A good Party member? Did they ever learn or are they like the current Russians who, today, long for the old Soviet Union? Oh, I forgot, all history stops at 2001, the rest never happened and is irrelevant.
