Ergo, he's painting a clown face of faux "contrition" for being a member of the Bush junta in hopes that such pandering will land him a cush job somewhere in the Obama Politiburo. Remember Bob Dole begging Bill Clinton for a job in phase two of that administration after Dole's thrashing in the '96 elections? What better demonstration of the artificiality of partisan labels among the Establishment? Anyone who thinks that Ridge, plankowner of that tax-consuming totalitarian failure called the Department of Hopeless Stupidity, regrets a minute of his time at the helm of that bureaucratic monster or who would buy his propaganda-and-deceit-filled book would probably also fill their investment portfolio with GM stock.
