Thomas Sowell on the Idiocracy

Some people – and readers – get furious with me when I write very bluntly about the American Imbecilic Adult Adolescent Society, but now I can’t get into trouble (right?) because I am merely quoting Thomas Sowell“How are children supposed to learn to act like adults, when so much of what they see on television shows adults acting like children?”

Here’s Lew Rockwell on the Idiocracy.

I fear for our younger generations. Some (many? most??) are  being coddled and insulated from the harsh realities of life. One day that insulation will be ripped from them suddenly, and they won’t be able to cope mentally, and get swept aside by whatever it was that hit them.

Childhood is dress rehearsal for being an adult.
