When the disintegrating state gets desperate, it wants your blood and money. Here is a list of services the state wants to tax in order to try to keep its sinking empire afloat. Note that you have to keep scrolling … and scrolling … and scrolling …… and scrolling. This endless list was compiled by the Federal Tax Administration because there will be a federal service tax – you can bet your last cigar. The feds, the states, the cities – they are all spending wildly, they are all fighting for your last drop of resources, and none of them seem to worry that so many of you are out of a job, have lost your house, have taken a pay cut, or are just sick and tired of being raped of your property in order to financially prop up a corrupt empire that empowers liars, thieves, and megalomaniacs who cater to the politically powerful and their assorted constituencies. Here’s just a sampling from the hit list:

- Labor charges on repairs delivered under warranty (gotta love those taxes on services that you don’t have to pay for)

- 900 numbers (Well, there goes my budget!)

- Tax return preparation (anybody see the irony here? the feds make you pay taxes and file a return as a statement of what you owe, and they want to tax you to pay someone to do that for you!)

- Credit information, credit bureaus

- Pinball and other mechanical amusements (how do you tax pinball? anyone?)

- Parking lots and garages (what about parking meters?)

“(how do you tax pinball? anyone?)”

Instead of a free ball, you win a free audit.

I actually hope that this list becomes very public and that the Oval Orifice Oaf goes public with an especially pedantic and emotional endorsement of it and how it’s merely the beginning of a very long list that will grow even bigger. That just might be the final straw on the overburdened camel’s back that precipitates the next long-overdue “shot heard around the world.”

Some sage advice comes to mind:

Here is the Golden Rule of sound citizenship, the first and greatest lesson in the study of politics: you get the same order of criminality from any State to which you give power to exercise it; and whatever power you give the State to do things for you carries with it the equivalent
power to do things to you. A citizenry which has learned that one short lesson has but little more left to learn. Stripping the American State of the enormous power it has acquired is a full-time job for our citizens and a stirring one; and if they attend to it properly they will have no energy to spare for fighting communism, or for hating Hitler, or for worrying about South America or Spain, or for anything whatever, except what
goes on right here in the United States.

New York State and New York City already taxes for just about everything on that list, and then some. Here both plain and carbonated water are taxed. Even internet purchases are taxed. Clothing is taxed! Most all food items are taxed!

Because of all the taxes a pack of cigarettes in a store costs $10.00! There is now a booming business here of bootleg cigarettes being sold everywhere from $4.50 to $6.00 a pack!

In Manhattan’s Chinatown many of the stores do not bother collecting the taxes! Some of them get shut down for doing so, but business is booming there!

I expect ” underground stores ” to soon be created just so that people can get away from the taxes.

I would just love to file a Federal Class Action Lawsuit against the State of New York because here Government theft, incompetence, kickbacks, ect. is so rampant and widespread that nothing gets done.

The entire State of New York needs to be placed into federal Receivership!!
    You Betcha!!!

Before I pass away I expect a meter to be placed on my nose so that ” The State ” can tax the amount of air that I breathe!!! You Betcha!!!!

So what is really happening is that the government wants to tax every dime you earn and every dime you spend. And then the government’s printed paper money is increasingly worth less, so simply using it at all continues the taxing, this time via inflation! How is this any different than “being paid scrip redeemable only at the company store and paying rent in the company housing, living in the company town”? Slavery. There really is no other word for it.

Regarding the tax on tax return preparation: I hate to be one who says “their outta be a law.” But in this case, my position is that any and all elected officials should be proscribed from having a professional prepare their tax returns.

If they can’t do it themselves, how in the hell can the average person be responsible for mistakes regarding the byzantine Federal tax code…
