Latest propaganda: the reason the government’s swine flu pandemic didn’t occur is because all of those lucky people who were vaccinated in 1976 during the government’s first swine flu propaganda program received long-term benefits and thus had a greater resistance than they otherwise would have had without the vaccination. (That is, those who did not contract Guillain-Barre syndrome from the vaccination.) Now the story goes that those who received their vaccinations for swine flu, this time around, will receive long-term benefits. So, another reason to go get your shot! Hurry, the batches of vaccine have been expiring.

“The 1976 vaccination is regarded through the lens of history as a big disaster. We vaccinated 45 million people for what was perceived to be no gain,” McCullers said.

“This comes full circle now and maybe vindicates the idea that some good did come of it.”

There’s never an end to the bullshit and lies. The cover-up for the non-swine flu pandemic is relentless in its pursuit of an ways to exploit hapless, uneducated Americans. Thanks to Matt Toennies for the link.

A half dozen stories hit the wires this weekend dealing with the excess of swine flu vaccines. Here’s one from Reuters.

The Washington Post reported that an estimated 71.5 million doses of H1N1 vaccine may have to be discarded if not used before expiry, costing millions in taxpayer dollars.

The CDC estimates that only one-fifth of American adults were vaccinated for H1N1. And you can be sure that is a high estimate. Here’s something from the article that I made a point of stressing back when this swine flu scheme was being launched:

It was not uncommon to discard seasonal flu vaccine every year, she said, and the only difference with the H1N1 vaccine was that the federal government had bought the supplies.

Thanks to Big Pharma’s agents, who are scattered throughout the governmental-pharmaceutical complex, there were no lost profits for Big Pharma. Here’s my blog from January that explores the government’s attempt to re-launch the swine flu propaganda. Since that time, the Swine Flu Journal, the Swine Flu Times, and the Swine Flu Post appear to be backing off from the scaremongering that just wasn’t working.

If you are really unwilling to let go of the H1N1 panic, you can go to the CDC’s website and send a free propaganda e-card to someone you love, convincing them to get the government’s shot. Or you can sign up for the CDC’s “emergency” text messages or mobile website. You just can’t make this stuff up.

Not to worry – the Department of Homeland Security can come to the rescue.

A severe outbreak of the H1N1 pandemic could overwhelm internet providers’ capacity, according to a report submitted Monday, which called on Department of Homeland Security officials to develop contingency plans to avert such a crisis.

“Concerns exist that a more severe pandemic outbreak than 2009′s could cause large numbers of people staying home to increase their internet use and overwhelm internet providers’ network capacities,” according to the report, which was prepared by the US Government Accountability Office.

More people staying home = more people on the Internet = bandwidth overrunith. In order to mitigate this “threat,” the DHS should consider rationing bandwidth or blocking websites, according to the GAO report. Well, wait a second. I thought that so many people were going to be ill and dying that hospital emergency rooms were going to be overrun? Just so you know that I am not mixing up satire with reality … for your reading pleasure, here is the GAO report. It is 77 pages long, so no, these guys aren’t kidding. Thanks to Jamie Proctor for the link.

The Pharmaceutical Daily never disappoints. Today’s cover story is about GlaxoSmithKline putting all its bets on the flu – seasonal, bird, swine, whatever. Thanks to the US government – and other governments – transferring billions of taxpayer dollars to Big Pharma’s war chest, pharmaceutical giants like Glaxo have the financial means to gobble up smaller flu-vaccine makers and adjuvant manufacturers.

The company has spent more than $3.2 billion on research, acquisitions and extra manufacturing in anticipation of a flu pandemic. Ranging from vaccines and antiviral drugs to medicated face masks and diagnostic tools, Glaxo’s portfolio sets it apart from rivals that have tended to focus on one aspect of flu-fighting, such as Sanofi-Aventis SA, which makes vaccines, and Roche Holding AG, which makes the antiviral drug Tamiflu.

“Short of putting beds in the labs, we are throwing just about every resource we’ve got into this situation,” says Chief Executive Andrew Witty.

Is there anyone who doesn’t believe that this pandemic – which still has not materialized – was declared for the purpose of executing a major profit coup for Big Pharma?

Glaxo’s strategy reflects how drug makers are pushing beyond prescription pills as valuable patents expire. The company has faced competition from makers of low-cost generic drugs on several of its big sellers, including antidepressant Wellbutrin and epilepsy drug Lamictal. A business built on vaccines is less likely to be undercut by low-cost producers: Vaccines are complicated to make, factories are expensive to build and maintain, and demand for flu shots can be fickle.

Mr. Witty believes that with governments becoming more concerned about pandemics, the business has staying power.

We can only hope that people are hip to the government’s vaccination con. They’re figuring out that the swine flu is only a flu, with short-term effects, and the to-be-mandatory vaccination can be deadly or cause serious health problems, and the effects will be long-term.

At the same time, the tyrant planners in the government urge mass inoculation so they can stick you before you have a chance to think for yourself about the vaccination, its non-benefits, and its potential for disastrous effects. Yesterday, Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius again urged people to line up for the dope, saying it is “secure and safe.” This is one thing that the Government-Big Pharma-Disinformation complex did not want to happen. Too much time has passed before their vaccination program could be delivered, and it was enough time for the disinformation to be replaced by the facts, with the truth being discovered by the masses. And now that John and Jane America are armed with valuable information – thanks to the Internet – the mass inoculation, by force, is losing its grip and the hysteria is waning.

In the workplace, I was dragged into a conversation by a fella who wanted my opinion on the whole swine flu vaccination ploy. Now keep in mind that I rarely discuss my ideas – only with a few people – in the workplace. It’s just not in the cards to get into ideological matters on the job, because most people are so averse to hard-hitting truths. When I gave my pitch – I think people were surprised at my immediate informed response, though not my views – I got a high five, and also, I discovered just how many people are starting to get it. Ever since the financial meltdown, and all the ensuing government takeovers, totalitarian decrees, and socialist central planning contrivances, people are waking up to the causes of the problems and the agenda of the disinformers. During the past year I have come across so many people in public, in the workplace, and those who email me, who have opened their eyes, built a very healthy skepticism, and are becoming informed to a degree that makes me know that all that we have been doing to expose the lies of the state and its collaborators has been to the good. In the least, people have become interested in these issues and they are undertaking deep dives into some of the details. I have never before witnessed this level of interest and awareness among the masses. No wonder the state hates the Internet.

Carol Gould on the British National Health Service’s outrageous swine flu strategy.

So this brings me to the government’s pandemic flu strategy. In the popular Evening Standard newspaper’s August 3 edition, there is a full two-page spread advising the public on how to deal with symptoms. We are told we must designate a “flu buddy” — oops, in England this is called a “flu friend.” We are instructed to initiate a complicated string of processes once ill. (Have you, dear reader, ever had really bad flu? Ever felt as if you will die and can barely stagger to the bathroom, only to fall over from fever, the shakes, and delirium?)

This ludicrous ad, which I calculate must have cost the NHS about $400,000, (a tabloid quarter page averages £80,000) tells flu sufferers to stay away from the doctors’ offices and call a helpline. You are then put through a series of questions about your condition, temperature, medical history, current health issues, and symptoms. You will be asked for your address and postcode. If you are not unconscious by the time this is over, you are then — wait for it — given an “authorization number.” Incidentally, the person “assessing” your qualification for a “flu authorization number” is one of two thousand folks recently picked from a motley queue of the unemployed who, from what we television-watchers could establish from the interviews given, are largely medically unqualified call center staff.
