I’ve heard from a lot of folks concerning this recent post. As some readers of this blog may know, I have been posting on fitness training and nutrition/food issues since the beginning of this blog (2002), as well as articles on LewRockwell.com that go back many years. I have been considering starting up a separate WordPress blog for those topics and linking it from this website. It would not be a heavily blogged site, at all. I would blog on occasional topics that interest me regarding food & nutrition, fitness, workouts, general health, strength training, and the miscellaneous other training that I do. One reason is that there is so much mainstream crap being passed off, in the media, as “healthy” when in fact it is the exact opposite. I comment on it often, but nowadays, it seems that I cannot begin to keep up with the massive amounts of disinformation being passed on to people who don’t know any better. One quick example is this New York Times piece linked up by Nikoley that irresponsible to the point of being evil. This kind of fallacious fluff is responsible for turning Americans into obese caricatures of human beings. Sickening. I will post more on this NYT piece later.

The other reason I’d like to do this is that I cannot let my friend Richard Nikoley, an active paleo-primal blogger, have all the fun.

I mentioned on this blog that I was going to review Mark Sisson’s Primal Blueprint. This is going to be a very thorough review, and it should be up before the end of the month. This is the one book that can help you understand the difference between what you should be doing and what the mainstream, fluff media is telling you to do.
