They probably hate it that they can't use past statistics to support their cause, for example the many people sending in comments to this story http://backwoodshome.com/blogs/MassadAyoob/2009/10/14/win-a-few-%E2%80%A6-lose-a-few/ about how they took guns and knives to school when they were young and nothing happened, thus it's some of the members in the current society that have the problem, it's not the guns or knives. Kind of like with smoking, people were affected the same way decades ago from smoking, the same as today, but that's not true of gun ownership. This whole attack on gun ownership is an attack on what I was taught it meant to be a free American, yet another example of how the government is contrary to and against Americans. The America we knew in our youth is truly no more, it is just the United State. Sigh. I cannot imagine a more divided country, but somehow I think the busy body Socialist will manage to do just that.
