General Motors has lost a few pennies this year, to the tune of $8.6 billion for 2005. “GM lost an estimated $1,067 on each of the 5.2 million vehicles it delivered across North America last year.” But of course, you’ll hear noodleheads in the auto industry claim that party times are right around the corner again, and that GM will be right back on its feet.
