Read Wendy on this. Very important stuff. I’ve discussed the most minor details of food prices, for the last two years, with this gentleman. You may know Eric Englund as my sometimes writing partner. He brought back “The Hyperinflation Survival Guide” quite a few years ago, as he was way ahead of the times. The man is an immovable rock on the topics of government monetary swindling and the current financial crises.

I’ve been agonizing over prices for the last 1-2 years, and not because I can’t afford it, but because it meant bigger things to me, and not just a short-term monetary hit. Eric and I were not surprised by the “rush” to buy food items and the limits placed on certain food items at places like Sam’s Club and Costco. I have a pantry that I built many years ago, and it is welcoming some new stockpile. This is not whacko, Y2K-style stuff. As Wendy points out, even the Wall Street Journal has touched on the subject of “do hoard food.”
