I second the Aerobie (http://www.aerobie.com/Products.htm) recommendation, though the only ones I have are the Rings. You'll need more space, though, since they're constructed to go much farther distances than any Frisbee.

This post makes me want to out and get one. At one time, I was well trained in the frisbee throwing department. It is a lot of fun and I am sure my yellow labrador retriever would love to join as a participant!

Familiarity with frisbees must be a Generation-X thing. I grew up throwing them around with friends, but I don't recall seeing any TV commercials for frisbees beyond the early 1970s. Like so many other toys, they've been supplanted by electronic gadgets. Have you ever thrown an Aerobie Disc? The darned thing sometimes behaves more like a helicopter than a frisbee. Lots of fun!
