Paleo Comfort Foods

Charles and Julie Mayfield have put together a great paleo-real food cookbook that promises to be a winner: “Paleo Comfort Foods: Homestyle Cooking for a Gluten-Free Kitchen.” I met and spoke with them at the Ancestral Health Conference in August. These paleo-real food recipe books are so important because the recipes are always simple (for those who can’t spend all evening every evening in the kitchen), and mostly, folks just getting off the SAD (Standard American Diet) usually have a hard time knowing what to cook and how to be creative. Knowing what to cook seems to be the biggest impediment, for most folks, to breaking bad food habits and going clean on real, fresh food.

I’ll do a blog review of the book – an advance copy is on the way to me and I should have it in a few days.
