Here’s my TV appearance on WHDT World News with Gary Franchi. The topics were (1) mostly the Detroit economy and entrepreneurial renaissance, and (2) some minor paleo-primal and flu shot talk.

This was a great interview, Karen! Some thoughts that ran through in my head during the interview:
1) Is the story of Detroit giving us a glimpse of what will happen nationwide when the Federal government finally acknowledges that it is broke as well?
2) Is it preferable to have a city government go broke rather than try to keep operating “business as usual” as long as possible when it becomes obvious that they are corrupt and out of money?
3) How can you give a 20 minute interview, including a section about a private company trying to buy thousands of acres of land in the city of Detroit and not give a nod to OCP and Robocop? ;-)

That was an excellent interview Karen…It would appear that Detroit needs a better PR effort — I never hear about any good things going on there (other than from you)…I’ve never been to Detroit, and if I paid much attention to all of the negativity about Detroit that comes from the MSM, then I’d think that the place was a total hell-hole…but it sounds like there are lots of good things going on there!
