Now I’ve made it into the Huffington Post. Here’s the dipwad author’s closing paragraph:

The real surprising aspect of this is how quickly people feel the need to buy products in mass when they fear it will no longer be available, even though the new bulbs are better for the environment. It has us wondering what household item will become the next hoarding craze?

Yep, people still can’t get their brain around the fact that “better for the environment” isn’t about science (it’s about politics), and in terms of quality, “better” is a subjective value.

What’s really pathetic about the Huffpo article is that is illustrates how liberals accept as perfectly normal the concept that government not only has the legitimate power but also the obligation to pull regulations like this out of their collective butts. Of course they don’t have either.

I have to imagine that this is sort of a double-edged sword. On the one hand, it’s good to get exposure inside of an MSM mouthpiece on the odd chance that someone, somewhere, might have their eyes (and brain) opened for the first time. On the other hand, you have to suffer the stupidity, ignorance, smears, and lies of creatures like Michelle “Moronette” Manetti (who probably, despite the lack of any evidence whatsoever to support it, claims to be a “journalist).

Don’t worry, I’m sure the mercury in the curly-q bulbs is quite safe.
