A manager for Kinko’s proves Bastiat wrong as regards the “parable of the broken window.” Missing children, in fact, do boost the economy by creating benefactors such as this Kinko’s shop. The ripple effects throught he economy, I am sure, will be economically advantageous enough that the government should perhaps stimulate demand!
