Yesterday, I did a great cycling route starting at Cedar Lake in Minneapolis, down to Lake Harriet and Lake Calhoun, then east to Lake Nokomis, and straight across to the mighty Mississippi. It’s a rip-roaring downhill from the bike path down to Lock and Dam No. 1. I crossed the Mississippi into St. Paul, did some great routes on that side of the river, and then headed back west, to Minneapolis, along the greenways. And then I went to downtown Minneapolis via the Kenilworth Greenway, and back to my car, parked at Lake Calhoun. By the time I get back, I chalked up 60+ miles. The skies reeked of rain the entire time, but I got lucky and had a great day, a great ride.
