Messiah Obama Impersonates a Preacher

At first I was wary of this, thinking it may be a joke, and I was vigilant about being fooled. You know how the folks on Saturday Night Live can make the show’s political impersonators look almost exactly like the real thing on camera? This is a two-minute clip (the first 2 minutes of the video) of Obama preaching in New York before the NAACP, speaking in a very divergent tone and style. I find this to be both exhausting and embarrassing. Note his preachy inflection, the mangled (and forced) accent, and his shrill voice and wild mannerisms. His accent, especially, is ridiculous. How long has he been practicing? He doesn’t talk like that. Herr Obama, you are no Jesse Jackson. I love how he keeps stumbling as he forgets his carefully scripted lines. And what’s my point of posting this? This is what passes as genuine change, as leadership, as the guy who will get the job done because he cares about America. This video is in fact nothing but bad acting, a put-on for black Americans, and it is representative of political propaganda for the purposes of empowerment and class/race warfare that is passed off as the medicine that all Americans needs to ingest in order to heal themselves. And stupid Americans who are in denial of reality and definitions cannot get enough of this mindless claptrap, especially if it makes them feel good today – but the hell with the consequences tomorrow and beyond. People put their future and freedom into the hands of a small circle of power-hungry, tyrannical politicians, in return for a series of exhilarating, ten-minute shows that give them the warm & fuzzies and sends them home thinking that they have gained something from it all. This is the essence of our Invisible Masters working their magic on the malleable, helpless, and controlled populace.

I saw him doing this early on the campaign trail and I laughed out loud. Of course it would be racist for a white man to appeal to a black audiene this way, but that’s beside the point. He’s must be a true man of the people (i.e. crowd pleaser), I don’t know who’s trying harder to get people to like him Tom Green or Barack Obama (sorry that’s kind of a dated reference).

Reminds me of Hillary Clinton’s Dog and Pony show.

You’re right of course, the pandering is just embarrassing. Fakery at its finest, true believers at their best.

Of course if Ron Paul or Lew Rockwell gave a speech in the south and pandered to a lobby with a southern accent, the outcry and mockery would never end. All the exceptional interventionists would huff and puff and stab below the belt… like they always do. They don’t like when people with principles interrupt their interventionist singalongs and group therapy sessions.

It’s a style of speech making, I was taugh it. MLK is the best example of this style. It is supposed to be like the flow of musical notes if done correctly, hypnotic even. Obviously he didn’t do well. I think it’s not something a person can pick up easily. He needs more class time and practice, haha.

    Political bullshit. Meh.

I’m more worried about him getting involved in that business with the cop arresting that Harvard professor at his home. I don’t know what really happened, but I’d bet that race had nothing to do with it–it was just another cop asserting his authoritah. Although police bigotry is a legitimate problem, it was inappropriate to bring it up in that speech before all the facts have come in about what really happened.

Karen writes: “…stupid Americans who are in denial of reality and definitions cannot get enough of this mindless claptrap, especially if it makes them feel good today – but the hell with the consequences tomorrow and beyond.” This is why I try to avoid discussing politics with people who don’t demonstrate, up front, a good measure of intellectual intregrity. It’s tolerable, even educational, to disagree with a fellow who takes a consistent stand on principle and defends his position forthrightly. The discussion might reveal errors in your own reasoning. The average public school graduate cannot recognize conflicting premises, and is apt to change or invert the definitions of words whenever honesty becomes tactically disadvantageous. Women, being naturally inclined to manipulation, are the more frequent practitioners of this dumbassery. But there is no shortage of men who will argue that imperial conquerors are “peace keepers” or that heavy, pervasive state regulation is “unfettered capitalism.”

As absurd as it is, it works.

America has an average IQ of 98. Got that? Two digits. It’s no longer a republic, it is a mobocracy, and mobocracy always leads to the dull-witted hordes worshiping dictators. Socialism is inevitable. Get out while the getting is good.

…”political propaganda for the purposes of empowerment and class/race warfare that is passed off as the medicine that all Americans needs to ingest in order to heal themselves.”

Exactly. These kind of speeches only serve to incite unrest and eventually civil riots when the masses awaken to see what is really happening. A lot of people will be pointing the finger and wanting to be rescued. By then, for many folks it will be to late.

I only got a chance to see about ten seconds of Obama preaching to the NAACP but it was enough to make my stomach turn. And yes it was embarrassing!

Do we have time enough to educate enough young people to correct this problem before the country capitulates? That’s my primary concern.
