Medical Establishment Firing Patients Who Refuse Big Pharma-Big Government Vaccines

This article in the Wall Street Journal is timely, especially considering that I recently published a piece on “The Medical Establishment Fired Me For Rejecting Conventional Wisdom.” While I was fired by my primary care physician’s office for rejecting all of the conventional wisdom they tried so hard to force upon me, folks who have children and reject the government-pharmaceutical-medical establishment vaccinations are also being fired for their resistance to contributing to the pharmacy industry’s corporate-socialist profits.

In a study of Connecticut pediatricians published last year, some 30% of 133 doctors said they had asked a family to leave their practice for vaccine refusal, and a recent survey of 909 Midwestern pediatricians found that 21% reported discharging families for the same reason.

…The rise in patient firings reflects another factor. As patients have become savvier and more willing to challenge doctors, physicians have become increasingly reluctant to deal with uncooperative patients, said Arthur Caplan, a bioethics professor at the University of Pennsylvania. In addition, doctors may feel financial pressure to see more patients and so have less time to contend with recalcitrant ones.

When I published my article just over a month ago, I received dozens of emails from people telling me their story of being “fired” by their physician for refusing vaccinations for their children, and many folks told me that although they had not yet been dismissed as patients, they were being harassed and pushed toward changing their minds on the vaccination question.

What really struck me about this article was the blatant idiocy that comes from the pediatric profession. The subtitle of the article, which presents the argument for vaccinations, is pathetically hysterical (bold emphasis mine): “Families Who reject Inoculations Told to Find a New Physician; Contagion in Waiting Room a Fear.” So the reason being given for demanding that children be vaccinated is the demented fear of “contagion in the waiting rooms?” Is any single person really stupid enough to buy into that? Here’s a gaggle of numbnuts who, unfortunately, have licenses to practice medicine.

For Allan LaReau of Kalamazoo, Mich., and his 11 colleagues at Bronson Rambling Road Pediatrics, who chose in 2010 to stop working with vaccine-refusing families, a major factor was the concern that unimmunized children could pose a danger in the waiting room to infants or sick children who haven’t yet been fully vaccinated.

How in the hell did the human race manage to survive and thrive before the days of divine wisdom from our self-anointed wise men and assorted medical moguls?

What I’ve never understood by the people that get all in a tizzy about vaccinations, is that the only people that theoretically be “threatened” would be the people who refuse the vaccination. If all people who are so sure that the vaccine will save them from whatever malady the medical profession is fawning about, get the vaccine, then only those of us who choose not too are supposedly “At-Risk”. I just don’t get it, I have people at work who whine incessantly about people at work, like me, who refuse to get the flu shot, but they get the flu shot, so why would they care. Never figure it out.

This is the same reason I have to wear a mask as a medic, to protect the patients and bystanders from my unvaccinated self.
