Typical statist "logic." "Do as I say, not as I do."

How many elected officials try to shove their pablum of "support our local public schools" down out throats while sending their own children to private learning institutions. It's similar to the "we need health care reform" while the Washington fat-cats have their own exemplary health care system paid for by the sheeple.

I made a point in a comment in a local newspaper regarding the dearly departed savior of the needy - Ted Kennedy.

Some of the posters who were promoting the idea that the name of Teddy Kennedy the lifeguard's name should be associated with any health-care reform. I asked if they thought if he would've abandoned his own taxpayer financed health care program and taken the advice of a health care panel about treating his condition with pain meds instead of spending a gazillion bux of taxpayer money for treatment to prolong his life for a month or two.

Seems that's a sticking point for the congresscritters who are pushing their DMV style of health-care agenda. They like their program, and aren't willing to sign up for whatever taxpayer financed abortion they propose for the unwashed hoi polloi.

Everything one needs to know about Matt Yglesias is here regarding debate on the issue of Global Warming:
Unable to carry the day in an actual scientific research process, they’re trying to transfer the battle to the court of public opinion or to the inappropriate venue of a adversarial trial.***********http://tinyurl.com/m3szaq*********Not only a beautiful mind, but a beautiful body: ****http://www.flickr.com/photos/dredgereport/160626106/sizes/l/
