Libertarians Going Paleo (Primal)

Lew Rockwell wrote this blog, just recently, on libertarians and paleo:

When I spoke at the two Ron Paul events in Tampa, a young man kind enough to pick me up at the airport told me a fascinating story. The vast majority of young Ron volunteers in offices he visited all over the country were paleo. If a kid ordered pizza—which was always the primary or perhaps only campaign food—he was practically booed.

True. And in fact, what’s amazing is not just the number of libertarians discovering why they should reject the conventional slop from the Industrial Food Machine, but WHO is doing it. I get some really incredible emails from some of the more admirable libertarians on the planet who are asking about primal resources or telling me that I, along with LewRockwell.com, inspired them to get educated on health and wellness matters, and go primal. This is all very encouraging. The Caveman Club is burgeoning with a star-studded lineup. Hate the State and their food fascism.

Since I am a flowchart gal in the work world, I really like this “What should I eat?” representation, though I dislike the use of the word “diet.” I prefer “plan” over diet, or even “roadmap.”

I’ve been wondering if we’re also going to start seeing this sort of cross-pollination in the other direction. People finding libertarianism via their success going paleo, i.e., “If the government food recommendations were making me fat, what else are they not telling me or just completely wrong about?”
