Keep the Public School Prisons Open Longer

Peter Orszag, a former OMB Director and the current Vice Chairman of Global Banking at Citigroup (no revolving doors between Wall Street and Government!), has penned a piece about why children need more time away from their parents and more time in the education hoosegow.

It’s time for a change: Schools should remain open until 5 or 6 p.m. The result would be better-educated students and less-stressed parents.

After all, says Orszag, the children aren’t tasked enough with their minuscule 7-hour school day. Thanks to Travis Holte for the link.

This is bad enough, but worse is what is happening in Texas with school kids getting tickets from cops.

But back to Orszag, he just had a kid with wife no 3 in April. Quoting from Wikipedia…”Orszag is married to Bianna Golodryga, co-host of ABC’s Weekend Good Morning America.[22] They have a son, Jake Spencer Orszag, born in April 2012.[23]

Orszag’s first marriage was to Cameron Hamill, with whom he had two children.[24][25] They later divorced.[25][26] He also has a child with a former partner, Claire Milonas.[25,27,28]”

Hey, this Boston boy has no room for kids in his life, when you consider he has four now..and probably not even time for one, hence, keep all kids in school 24/7.

But in Muncie, Ind. possibly as a reaction to a financial crisis and an exodus to homeschooling:

Under its “blended” model, children go to their classrooms two days a week for face-to-face instruction. Three days a week, they work at home with a parent or other adult while connected electronically to the high-tech school.

    In Nothing We Trust
Americans are losing faith in the institutions that made this country great.

And some are pissed about it, although maybe not people in Muncie.

Some angry reaction from FireDogLake blogger to the article.

About National journal, if you were wondering :

Of course children just get dumber the more they sit in their government-accredited schools. But it would be an opportunity for the government to keep propagandizing.

Perhaps Orzsag is afraid that the children will go home and actually learn something other than government and central banking propaganda on the Internet.

Its not for the children,!!! It’s for the global elites, It’s to give them more time to brain wash our kids and raise them for us, with untrue history, dumbing our kids down, teaching them not to obey there parents and follow the government and what they say and command them to!!!! It’s to break apart the family unit the bond between family, it’s bull and I will home school my kids before I let them separate me and my family, physically, morally and spiritually! It’s our responsibility to nurture properly educate and develop our children, “NOT THE GOVERNMENTS”
