Kagan Softball Innuendo

The Internet is buzzing about the Wall Street Journal‘s use of a photo of Elena Kagan playing softball. Of course, the complaint is that the implication is that she is a lesbian, and yes, lesbians play softball. Hence a conservative paper digging up the old photo.┬áBen Smith at Politico has reproduced the page here. Vanity Fair also made mention of the story. At the Chicago Sun-Times, they reprinted a couple of photos and mentioned that Elena played 16-inch softball, which is, apparently, when the fielders don’t wear gloves. This is supposed to be Chicago “tough.” Sounds stupid to me.

A spokesman for the WSJ, when asked about the intentions of the photo, stated:

“If you turn the photo upside down, reverse the pixilation and simultaneously listen to Abbey Road backwards, while reading Roland Barthes, you will indeed find a very subtle hidden message,” said Journal spokeswoman Ashley Huston.

I look for this woman to bat zero on issues that conservatives find compelling. She already has three strikes against her. 1) She isn’t about to go to bat for the Constitution, viewing it as fungible. One gets the impression that she wants to rewrite the Constitution as opposed to interpreting it. Which to my way of thinking puts her way out in left field with her boss, the umpire of the empire. Secondly, she is radically anti-military as well as pro-abortion, meaning, baby killing is cool, but never take out one’s fatal enemies..go figure, sounds like a liberal to me. On the abortion issue, she’s been known to view pro-lifers as criminals. Wendy Wright of Concerned Women for America reveals Kagan “treated pro-life activists like violent criminals, creating a task force in the Department of Justice and a grand jury to investigate peaceful pro-lifers”.
Are you looking for a truthteller for this job as judge?…forget about it. Jewish World Review claimed that she had no problem with two liberal law professors committing plagiarism when she was dean of Harvard Law School in 2004 and 2005. Minimizing the wrong doing of these law breakers was so blatant that even a leftist academic said Elena Kagan was whitewashing the two phony professor’s behavior and should have been fired! Additionally,

she had no problem as a Dean at Harvard chasing the military campus recruiters away which makes one ponder if she will play softball with the enemy and hardball with our military. For sure, her umpire isn’t about to eject Elena from his error of an expanded roster of rascals, czars. et al. It is fairly telling that Justice Ruth Badar Ginsburg decried Kagan’s anti-military stance. I don’t expect a pecota projecting great performance.

I can’t remember the last time I broke a sweat playing softball. Oh, yeh, now I remember. It was 90 degrees & there was a keg of beer there. Totally brutal/

Stole home and missed the plate entirely.

I have no problem with tomboys. But this “woman” is so not-handsome that she could stop a rabid male dog in heat dead in his tracks @ 100 yards.

And that is a complete summary of ALL that I know of this chick. Thanks JQ for the lowdown skinny on her.

The lack of being informed was entirely intentional.

Remember? I’m still looking for that amendment to the Constitution (aka Big C) that eliminates the Judicial Branch of Big Gov.

Now when Congress fails to behave like a rational adult, I got a posse of 50 boys and all that is needed is for 10 of them to say “no” (nullification).

And if that happens, these hosses take you Congress out back to the shed for an ol’ fashioned whoopin’.

Trust me, you won’t walk straight for a week!

And basketball, and soccer, tennis, curling, and dozens of other sports, as do “straight” women in equal number. Is this the most important issue a “Conservative” newspaper has to focus on?

    Um, wait, don’t answer that…

Regarding SCOTUS Justices, or any elected official for that matter: I’d prefer a bunch of whiskey drinking, chain smoking, marijuana toking, hardcore porn watching alcoholics with felony convictions who regarded individual liberty and private property rights sacred in the style of Tom Jefferson. These corporatist, political party, Ivy League graduates who prostitute themselves to the underbelly of mankind are the ruin of any decency this society ever claimed to have.

    The 2 Political Party Definition:
    (R) = Ruin
    (D) = Destruction

I personally know several lesbians who would be better Supreme Court Justices than most of the Justices who now occupy that court. ( Some even happen to be female.) That being said, what’s more important (IMO) is her understanding and commitment to following the intent of the founding fathers regarding the Constitution.
According to the LA Times – http://www.latimes.com/news/nationworld/nation/la-na-kagan-profile-20100511,0,249668,full.story – “According to records at the William J. Clinton Presidential Library in Little Rock, Ark., she also drafted an executive order restricting the importation of certain semiautomatic assault rifles. She also helped prepare a question-and-answer document advocating the campaign-reform legislation then proposed by Sens. Russ Feingold and John McCain.”

Obviously, since she has a distorted view of articles I and II of the Bill of Rights, Kagan is not suited to rule on ANY matter regarding Bill of Rights protections.

I couldn’t care if Kagan was an Hungarian-borne, hermaphrodite with hemorrhoids.

If they are willing to support, defend and preserve the Constitution, they get my support. Sadly, Kagan is probably one in a long line of others who have made the conscious decision to do otherwise.

Hence? The solution! Cut a waste product away!

See ya, Judicial Branch of the Big Gov!

Cut your frickin’ losses and move on.

Mebbe Judge Napolitano’s book did not have the intended effect?

We do this in business all the time (including strategically defaulting on commercial real estate when it ain’t working out – did you miss that?)

You cut your losses (and your non-performing operations) and restructure and move on.

    That’s a business survival skill.

    Big Gov should take note.

The citizens of this country should really take note.

AFTER ALL: the citizens of this great country really, really DO OWN this country – we have simply forgotten that – WAKE UP (Spirit’s “12 Dreams of Dr. Sardonicus” style here!).

    The Transcendendalists sure didn’t!

Ahem, an aside: how to italicize, and go bold, + Zapf Dingbats font? Begging here…

I am w/ Sal + Michael here; drink heavily (beer) & smoke the dope + your own home-rolled tobacco.

Sorry, I could not give a flying * about this Supreme Court appointee until the REAL problem really gets SOLVED.

    Toke anyone? OK, my turn…

Oh hey, Sal! Go Jefferson, dude! You buying?

PS: Please take good care everyone. Live like JQ does and furthermore, embrace your spirit. Trust me, it’s there just waiting to be heard.

Bye. (and this may be permanent – Big Boss is now watching…)

I am so sorry & I apologize to all for being the absolutely uninformed person that I am in THESE fields of regards.

But as a completely APOLITICAL human being (trust me this is 40 years & counting), I simply just don’t want to go there. It makes my skin crawl. I can’t even join a club w/ annual dues b/c I feel somehow that it could be used to define me!

And I don’t think you can be defined that way. Club membership does NOT define you – ONLY you do. That’s why I get refused club membership – it just wasn’t right for me.

It was is all about being a simple man.

Sort of like JQ who has no inkling of a tech toy called the Blackberry (you kick major A* – you ARE on the right path to life!)

Take the good stuff; LEAVE the bad.

    2nd Bye…
