    Karen,
I was fascinated by the recent article on Mises, an oldy but a goody from Frank Chodorov, “Joseph, Secretary of Agriculture.” ┬áIt seems like there are many “Josephs” for Pharaoh now, and not just for agriculture.

Why do I think that some group of investors are making a ton of money off of vaccine sales, and this swine flu is primarily hype?

Have we actually seen several thousand deaths directly attributed to this H1N1 strain of the flu yet (as opposed to other strains of influenza that have been around for years?), Im not going to worry about it.

Should we be surprised we should just get our damn vaccine, just like we should just shut up and pay our damn taxes and just like we should just shut up about the gov’t causing the housing crisis and how we should just shut up about the basic bullshit bailouts. As for Sebalius, it is always so easy to know when she is lying…her mouth is moving! This much I do know, when the RX industry is so in bed with govt then anything goes with these unethical morons. I recall the idiot Harvard grad female MD my son and I visited in Boston, when trying to get answers about his Gulf War Syndrome 20 years ago. She didn’t want to address that problem, but instead tried to make him look like he needed psycho drugs. Just like a well trained monkey, she refused to believe our gov’t could give such vaccines. But the real rub was when this feminist, frumpy female fake doctor wrote in my son’s medical records that it was possible I caused his physical problems. Which begs the question, what am I? Jesus Christ or Mandrake the Magician that I could cause Peripheral Neuropathy, rashes, chemical odors emanating from his body, seizures requiring him to take seizure meds for five years, short term memory problems, inability to sleep, the ever present chronic bone and joint pain which is backed up by xrays showing deterioration of joints..and then the really sad, but true, tumors on his testes both internally and externally. Lucky for my son, he found a doctor in TX 2 years ago, that was able to remove them bringing some relief to one of his many health problems. But unlucky for the Harvard female doctor…should she ever cross my path again, she won’t know what hit her. I don’t take to false allegations lightly, nor do I suffer unethical narcissists gladly. And yes, it was the vaccines the troops were given pre Gulf War 1 that made him and thousands of other troops very sick the past twenty years. There is a class action suit against the govt now and just watch how they wait until most the guys are dead before they get any recompense. So much for trusting our govt with our health…what a monstrous joke.

The sycophantic brown-nosing statist “health experts” who tout vaccines as the be all, end all illness panacea always seem to miss several obvious points.
For instance, they claim that a single child in school who hasn’t been vaccinated puts everyone else at risk. But wait. I thought that the only people who would be “at risk” are the other handful of students who weren’t vaccinated. Apparently, the folks at the CDC – who consider inanimate objects like guns to be an “epidemic” really don’t trust the effectiveness of these vaccines in the first place.

The bottom line is: “Trust your government.” We only do what’s in the best interest of the unwashed hoi polloi. No really. Comply, or in your best interest, we’ll beat, tase and arrest you. Oh yeah – and you’ll be fired if you happen to be employed in the health care field.

Oh yeah – the only time in the past 15 years that I got the flu was when we took the flu shots. Just get your damn vaccine my azz.

I’m an RN and have seen only a few cases of truly debilitating illness with H1N1 virus, but in ALL of those cases, there were other comorbidities associated with these patient’s hospitalizations (i.e. congestive heart failure, obesity, diabetes, etc.) I have colleagues who have contracted H1N1 and have suffered similar symptoms to any normal flu virus. The idea that this flu is really any different than any other flu is just nonsense. In fact, a physician colleague of mine told me that those over the age of 40 are probably LESS likely to contract H1N1 due to the increased likelihood that that population already carries antibodies for it dating back to the 1970′s! It’s a flu, for god’s sake! It’s not cancer, it’s not TB, and most importantly, we’re not living back in 1918 when modern medicine was in its infancy.
