The way it’s written, this is almost funny: Crisis turns free marketeers into regulators. Since our cherished, government leaders are only “extending the occasional, expensive helping hand” and are “proponents of hands-off government ,” they are necessarily “reluctant interventionists.” Who got paid how much to write this too-creepy lionization of the central planners’ alleged reluctance to centrally plan?
