I Think Some Gun Control is Needed
Monday, October 12, 2009Several individuals were involved in a wild shootout in a Toledo, OH bar on Thursday night. The video of the fiasco was released today, and it’s quite revealing. There were at least five people shooting, and police reported finding 17 shell casings, though after watching the video, it appears there may have been dozens of shots fired. What’s so funny is that with all these people shooting, from inside and outside the bar, not one person was hit or injured. Thugs and parasites who carry guns almost never know how to use them, let alone engage an enemy and shoot their gun with accuracy. Watch the guy who thinks he can shoot somebody from underneath a pool table. And then there’s the guy shooting through the front door, from outside, shooting one-handed while he’s flailing his arm.
This is a reminder to those who carry a weapon for self-defense: consistently train with your weapon – mental preparation and defensive/combat/tactical training – so if you should ever have to engage thugs who wish to do you harm, you will have the superior preparation and skills, and the odds will be with you.

Seems up the street in Chicago they are much more effective with railroad ties…

Thank You Ms DeCoster! I only use my T.V. set to watch DVD’s; I have not watched commercial T.V. for 10 years so I would have probably missed this story if you had not posted it.
I live in New York City where innocent bystanders are struck by bullets all the time. Many of these innocent people are children and many of them die.
Young people here can not read, write, or do math properly but they have easy access to narcotics and easy access to firearms. Such is life in the big cities of America!!

Is it just me, or do the shooters look Hispanic?

Absolutely! Train, train, train. I will be pursuing my conceal/carry here in Ohio, and I would never consider shooting at someone unless I absolutely had to, and avoid these situations at all costs (stay away from seedy bars and places where thugs hang out. And they wonder why people are leaving our big cities?).
I think drugs played a role in the above incident. A deal gone bad.
