The Detroit Lions, who just finished their season at 0-16, have announced:
…they’ll freeze ticket prices for next season. In addition, the team will reduce prices for a small portion — about 8 percent — of season-ticket holders for 2009.
What a favor! It’s amazing to think that people are still charging pricey sports tickets – especially season tickets – on their credit cards. The average NFL regular-season game is $72 a ticket. Considering things, these stadiums should be three-quarters empty by this time.
