Cor!  I love folk and metal.  Never thought they’d be combined.

@Joe…what makes them medieval? It’s like this Joe..if you were a woman ever married to a German, you would know what medieval is all about. It is like living in another century with someone who just stepped out of the Black Forest and has no sense of time, urgency or raison d’etre.

The video shows a woman locked in a caged screen where she cannot be felt or touched..for that is the way he wishes it. He does not want the openess, the warmth as it would force him to drop the barriers that he puts up in not wanting to relate to her except from a distance. Note that she walks a long corridor and cannot open any doors or escape…but then a dog enters and at least she has some chance of life with a …..a dog!

Which is better than she got with a raving medieval German goon gone mad in his depressed, black forested mind. He only wants her to play to his 11th century serfdom, and also wants to keep walls between each other. Such a woman ends up in a sad and lonely state…I know for I was once married to one German just like that…thinking he was super god, and thinking he had the right to cage his woman…poor pitiful godless man is now alone living in a stew of his own making. I often wonder if he was a muslim male in a precious life…but in this life puts an invisible burka on his wife. Probably why I can relate to the sad depressed state of affairs of muslim women when they are hidden by their men and not allowed any expression. At any rate, you could not offer me one billion bucks to ever marry another German. I can think of much easier ways to be tortured than to be criticized 24/7 by one moron who wins no prizes in any dept.

The keys at the end of the video could represent the fact that he never did discover the keys to her can you though when you are so wrapped up in yourself, and so full of yourself that you cannot reach to another, nor allow yourself to be reached in any way, shape or form. Such is the destiny of retards who remain at an emotional level of a four year old…as for the music of the video, it sucked for me and was a reminder of the sickness a woman endures if she ends up with a Black forest loudmouth stuck on metal of his own making. As in a coat of armor…so that no one can ever penetrate the mind skin of such a sadist.

There’s a lot of this stuff out there. It’s usually called “Viking Metal” or “Folk Metal” and sometimes “Celtic Metal.” Bands like Amon Amarth, Cruachan, Heidevolk, and others are big in Europe. I love this stuff. :)

Jeannie Queenie, thanks for the MF ( Medieval Folk ) lesson. I suspect that at sometime in my life that info will be very handy.

Truthfully, women all over the world – yes, those women too, who hold up half the sky are constantly under some real or imagined stress, subjugation, harassment, and other forms of control.

We in the US believe that not to be true; the truth is that misogamy lurks in the well lit and darkest corners of the US and the world.

My apologies for creating the 8th response in the comments.

If you like Subway to Sally, check out Eluveitie. You got to love a group who is listed in the genre of “folk melodic death metal”.
