Did anyone listen to the hearing yesterday? Who was that female legislator? She asked Timmy, “What in the Constitution grants you the power to…….?” Timmy sputtered some nonsense. She repeated the question. Timmy tried to make something up that sounded legitimate. This repeated until she asked the question about five or six times, with Timmy having no answer. His sputtering became more pronounced each time she asked the question. But Ben said, “Congress gave us the authority….” I ask, aside from the AIG bonuses, and all else, why aren’t people (outside of this choir) outraged over this issue of unconstitutional powers? Well, they won’t be until their daily lives (paychecks, credit cards, TV shows, video gaming, soccer games, and the kids’ very important dance lessons) are exposed to the real pain that comes with oppression, inflation, food/goods shortages, and unemployment.
