Fear Uber, Says the Monopolists

The media keeps building its case against Uber via its fear mongering campaign. A New York Daily News headline reads: “Kalamazoo shooter suspect Jason Dalton had long history of driving violations before working for Uber.”

The article states that Dalton received 6 speeding tickets in 16 years, with his last ticket coming ten years ago, and he was ticketed 3 of those times for not having a proof of insurance or registration. Now that’s a red flag to indicate a future psycho killer, ain’t it? A few years back, that was my story – a few too many speeding tickets in too short a time. And then, forget to carry updated government paperwork with you? Welcome to the “busy adult” club. I’m missing some of mine (a registration) as I write this.

Additionally, the story states that the “Uber driver,” as he is being defined, worked for Uber since, wow, last month (January). The collectivists just hate Uber because the freedom to choose one’s transportation just defies all establishment logic. Follow me on Twitter @karendecoster.

    Just saw a Yahoo! headline:

“Family of Michigan man charged in Uber shootings know no motive: lawyer”
