The Washington Post reveals that 30+ politicians are under ethics inquiry.

House ethics investigators have been scrutinizing the activities of more than 30 lawmakers and several aides in inquiries about issues including defense lobbying and corporate influence peddling, according to a confidential House ethics committee report prepared in July.

The report appears to have been inadvertently placed on a publicly accessible computer network, and it was provided to The Washington Post by a source not connected to the congressional investigations. The committee said Thursday night that the document was released by a low-level staffer.

Of course, having your own band of brothers scrutinize your corruption and lies is a bit like having your Mom judge you in a talent contest. As the story says, “Ethics committee investigations are not uncommon. Most result in private letters that either exonerate or reprimand a member.”

Ohhh, reprimand!

Only 30 bad boys? You gotta be kidding. How about the unethical crooks that implemented Cash for CLunkers…just rec’d this info in a newsletter–”Speaking of spooky government spending, here’s another: The “cash for clunkers” program ended up costing the American taxpayer $24,000 per clunker, says a report from Edmunds.com. The auto sales analysts scoured yearly sales data and concluded that of the 690,000 new cars sold during the program, only 125,000 were vehicles that would not have been sold by the end of the year. In short,
Edmunds claims that 81% of “cash for clunkers” sales were completed by customers that would have bought a new car this year anyway… they just bellied up to the proverbial bar when drinks were on Uncle Sam.
Thus, if you trust Edmunds’ numbers, the government spent $3 billion to summon 125,000 extra auto sales… or about $24,000 per car”. Now if that isn’t crookery played on John Q Public, what is?? And what is even more frightening is that if not-so healthy care is run like this program we can really kiss our booties goodbye. In all honesty however, it probably isn’t fair to say that they are unethical, From the latest coming out on the healthcare bill, one HAS TO DEDUCE these whackos are bonafide boneheads.Just received this in an email an hour ago. “The House’s new health care reform bill, championed by Speaker Pelosi, emerged yesterday at 1,990 pages, with a CBO estimated cost of $1.05 trillion.” NOW THIS IS WHERE IT GETS REALLY INTERESTING. I DEFY ANYONE OUT THERE TO TELL ME JUST WHAT THIS INSANE LEGALESE ACTUALLY SAYS….AGAIN, JUST MORE PROOF OF MENTAL ILLNESS, AS OPPOSED TO LET’S SAY, REAL UNETHICAL BEHAVIOR.
“Highlights include this spat of legalese:

“(a) Outpatient Hospitals – (1) In General – Section 1833(t)(3)(C)(iv) of the Social Security Act (42 U.S.C. 1395(t)(3)(C)(iv)) is amended – (A) in the first sentence – (i) by inserting “(which is subject to the productivity adjustment described in subclause (II) of such section)” after “1886(b)(3)(B)(iii); and (ii) by inserting “(but not below 0)” after “reduced”; and (B) in the second sentence, by inserting “and which is subject, beginning with 2010 to the productivity adjustment described in section 1886(b)(3)(B)(iii)(II).”
So once again, here we go loopty loop, here we go loopty lie…all on a Saturday night….er, I mean Thursday afternoon. As I see it, the loopty loop is the loopty lefties laying on such convulated language no sane human can understand. The LIE, well we all know what that is…just check out the clunkers bigtime lie!

In many religions throughout time only the high priests are able to decipher the law.
