Swine Flu Lies
Monday, January 4, 2010 22:01 1 CommentA brand new article of mine is up at the John Birch Society: “Revisiting the Swine Flu Lies and Hysteria.”
Revisiting the Swine Flu Hysteria
Friday, January 1, 2010 13:46 4 CommentsI’ve been waiting patiently for this perspective to appear in mainstream print. The Wall Street Journal Swine Flu Journal reports:
Global health officials’ response to the swine-flu pandemic reflects major improvements in flu-fighting capabilities in recent years, but limited vaccine supplies, crowded emergency rooms, and other challenges show they still aren’t fully equipped to combat a [...]
Generous Americans Share Flu Hysteria With Rest of the World
Monday, November 16, 2009 14:01 4 CommentsThis “Watching the H1N1 Flu Pandemic” photo story on Boston.com is an indication of how well government propaganda works. Thanks to Mark Fee for the link.
CDC Turns Up the Fearmongering
Saturday, November 14, 2009 19:40 3 CommentsIn late October, the CDC reported approximately 1,000 deaths from the swine flu in the U.S. Two weeks later, the number is 4,000. That’s because the original count included only laboratory confirmed cases, while the new numbers include estimates from epidemiologists. Apparently, people aren’t dying in large enough numbers as the government bureaucrats had hoped.
Remember [...]
Another Vaccine Victim
Friday, November 13, 2009 7:07 7 CommentsThis time it was a 14-year-old boy in Virginia who developed a case of Guillain-Barre syndrome less than 24 hours after getting his shot.
Jordan McFarland, a high school athlete from Alexandria, Va., left Inova Fairfax Hospital for Children Tuesday night in a wheelchair nearly a week after developing severe headaches, muscle spasms and weakness in [...]
Swine Flu to Bring Down Internet if Government Doesn’t Act
Saturday, October 31, 2009 18:28 2 CommentsNot to worry – the Department of Homeland Security can come to the rescue.
A severe outbreak of the H1N1 pandemic could overwhelm internet providers’ capacity, according to a report submitted Monday, which called on Department of Homeland Security officials to develop contingency plans to avert such a crisis.
“Concerns exist that a more severe pandemic outbreak [...]
Swine Flu and Porportionality
Thursday, October 29, 2009 18:02 1 CommentPutting things into perspective does wonders for the senses. But people are still swarming over the available vaccines. And here’s a (dated) story from an NHS doctor observing the hysteria. Thanks to Mark Fee for the chart.
“I Would Refuse”
Wednesday, October 14, 2009 6:51 2 CommentsI popped on ClickonDetroit, the website for the local Channel 4, and the “question of the day” was, “How would you feel if you were forced to get an H1N1 flu vaccine?” (Of course, the appropriate terminology is “How would you react” …. not “feel.”) With 1550 votes captured (when I popped on the survey), [...]
Government to Use Swine Flu for Another Control Mechanism
Friday, October 9, 2009 15:21 5 CommentsThe government wants to take your temperature and/or scan you for the swine flu before you board a plane. In fact, they want you to have a “health screening.” From the Flu.gov website:
Due to the outbreak of H1N1 (Swine) flu occurring in the United States and many other countries, airport staff in some countries may [...]
GlaxoSmithKline Loves Government Fearmongering
Friday, October 9, 2009 5:35 1 CommentThe Pharmaceutical Daily never disappoints. Today’s cover story is about GlaxoSmithKline putting all its bets on the flu – seasonal, bird, swine, whatever. Thanks to the US government – and other governments – transferring billions of taxpayer dollars to Big Pharma’s war chest, pharmaceutical giants like Glaxo have the financial means to gobble up smaller [...]
