In late October, the CDC reported approximately 1,000 deaths from the swine flu in the U.S. Two weeks later, the number is 4,000. That’s because the original count included only laboratory confirmed cases, while the new numbers include estimates from epidemiologists. Apparently, people aren’t dying in large enough numbers as the government bureaucrats had hoped.
