Bono: “Rebrand America”

The Irish goofball Bono is at it again. He wants to “Rebrand, restart, reboot” America. Doesn’t restart mean the same as reboot? Here is His Excellence:

In dangerous, clangorous times, the idea of America rings like a bell (see King, M. L., Jr., and Dylan, Bob). It hits a high note and sustains it without wearing on your nerves. (If only we all could.) This was the melody line of the Marshall Plan and it’s resonating again. Why? Because the world sees that America might just hold the keys to solving the three greatest threats we face on this planet: extreme poverty, extreme ideology and extreme climate change. The world senses that America, with renewed global support, might be better placed to defeat this axis of extremism with a new model of foreign policy.

He goes off an a delusional ramble about Obama being the great peace president because he has assembled a “dream team” that will revolutionize our lives and rebrand our nation.

Obama and his band of useful idiots want to rebrand, restart and reboot America under a Marxism regime.

That article translates, in my language to: “USA, be the leader of world peace by funding the cure to every ill in every culture.”

    “Extreme Climate Change”?(!)

How cold does it have to get?

Everytime you hear this nonsense, remember these are people that want to assign you PERSONAL carbon footprints and make you pay “offsets” to Wall Street (Al Gores new “business” venture) to pay for the “damage” you are doing to the planet. The SAME people fight, via lawsuits, every new nuclear, solar, wind, geothermal, and wave electricity-generating project. Its not about “clean” energy (no CO2). Its about picking your pocket very very deeply in a way that you cannot run away from (you’ve got to drive, youve got to heat and cool your house, you are going to use your phone and computer).

What kind of chemicals did he overdose on?
Is some big phama company using him as a test subject?
Has he been drinking the tap water on Staten Island?

There’s BIG MONEY to be made from advocating anti-capitalism. And let’s not forget that Mr. Hewson and his band are tax avoiders.

Bono is just another celeb who confuses adoration by the masses to mean he possesses wisdom and insight, and that people actually care what he thinks.

Aha! Bono (aka bonehead) has identified the source of all our troubles. It’s the ‘axis of extremism’. Once we get a UN vote on sanctions, all that will be left to do is:
    – starve the inhabitants of the offending countries by embargo
    – attack them each militarily

    - spend a trillion or two more for the mil contractors
    - shred any vestige of the constitution
Then, we will be able to live in peace.
I suppose he’ll ask for a little bit of compensation for his consulting work of inestimable value…

Since his band hasn’t produced anything of musical relevance in years, I guess this is Bono’s way of trying to keep the spotlight on himself. Apparently he operates on that old narcissist’s assumption that “negative attention is better than none at all.”

Bono and his group have not written a collection of good songs and released them onto one record since “The Unforgettable Fire” twenty five years ago. He should give up trying to save the world and continue writing and singing bad songs. At least then I will be less likely to hear him. Additionally, as a Christian he must know that theft is forbidden by the Messiah. Suffice it to say as an Obamanoid (ie: a follower of his true messiah) he does not recognize that the forced confiscation of private property by the government is stealing.
