And you wonder why people are so fond of The Andy Griffith Show, and Andy’s portrayal of a peace officer?
Contrast the lesson from Andy Griffith with this photo of my local Sheriff Department: Macomb County Sheriff Mark Hackel, and the high-priced apparatus they need to keep us criminals – and potential domestic terrorists – from rolling through stop signs and making “illegal” left turns.

_The Andy Griffith Show_ was pure fantasy, what people hoped their local police was like. In reality, most local police are fiendish sociopaths who use prosecutors to protect themselves against prosecution while aggressively violating the rights of the local citizenry.
