On that exact beach was the only time someone tried to mug me. The locals I was with saw them coming and asked me to follow them, guess I didn't get their hint as to what they suspected. WTF are greenbacks? I had to convince the muggers I had no money and gave them my half finished Fosters, it was like tossing meat to hungry wild bears. Against three guys and no sharp sticks anywhere, I felt lucky to not have to test myself that way as they were all my size and appeared to be in the same shape. If only we would've had guns in the beginning, even empty ones, we would've had little to fear. I can load a magazine pretty fast. The comments about that open carry story are, "something else" too. The ego driven power hungry, state loving moronic child-like fearful anti-gunners were typical, you could almost hear them yell, "Go! Soviet! Long Live Animal Farm!" This George Orwell quote fits well here I think: “In our age there is no such thing as 'keeping out of politics.' All issues are political issues, and politics itself is a mass of lies, evasions, folly, hatred and schizophrenia. The very concept of objective truth is fading out of the world. Lies will pass into history." Can you tell I've been reading Animal Farm stories? This was a good one for someone who knows nothing of the story line - http://financialsense.com/editorials/quinn/2009/0727.html
