Oh teh noes!!! Neo-Nazis in the military!

The solution, of course, is simple.

1. Immediately discharge all white people from the military, so as to prevent future recurrences.

2. Recruit back up to strength, by draft if necessary, from places like the offices of the Southern Poverty Law Center and their mailing/contributor lists. That way we can be sure of having a socially acceptable group of guys and gals whose job is to kill people and break things.

Karen, funny you referenced this Cal State website. I actually went to this school, Cal State San Bernardino, and I also have known people that have worked there. Many programs there receive federal funding, and this one probably does, so everyone pays for it. As a former student, I can tell you that this place offers one of the worst educations from some of the most incompetent so called faculty, and the people that work there either do very little, or nothing at all in their daily work. Of course what else can you expect from a government institution. Now that budgets are being cut, hopefully this center will go away.

The demand, "We-have-to-do-SOMETHING", is a debate tactic used by the statist who lacks the intelligence or honesty to justify his proposed power grab. One can expose the idiocy by responding, "Okay, if we have to do something (and "something" implies that ANYTHING will suffice), then let's abolish this bureaucracy, eliminate this tax, repeal this statute, etc., so that millions of American will be able to DO SOMETHING to repair their government-ravaged finances." An intellectually honest statist will pause to consider. The idiot/liar will parrot the objection of the central planners in ATLAS SHRUGGED (all together now): "Noooo! We CAN'T do THAAAAAAT!" I have one liberal relative whose habitual response to reason is beginning statist demands with the word maybe, as in, "Maybe [insert proposed power grab] will work, if everybody works together."

Always beware of people who defend the 'stimulus' package by saying: 'but we have to do SOMETHING'. What does that mean? Is something always preferable to nothing? Is the act of doing something a good in itself or is its main purpose to show the world that liberals care enough to do something? That's it isn't it? Obama, his slack-jawed followers and the evildoers in Congress are proving to the world that they CARE. Well - that will provide small comfort as our economy drops off a cliff.

I liked this recent description of Congress by Fred Reed:
535 commoditized temple monkeys pawing through the ruins of America in search of bribes.
